Math and Writing Support
Academics in Residence (AIR) offers a variety of free math and writing support services.
Writing Support is offered through the Student Success Centre on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Residents must pre-register by logging into their Student Success Centre and selecting Student Success Centre - Writing Support. After registering a message will be sent to your ucalgary email with a link and password to access the session.
Math Support is offered on Tuesdays from 6pm to 9pm, Zoom link ID 349 160 134, to receive the password students must email Nicole Langevin at [email protected] and request the password.
This service is open to all residents. The Writing Support Specialist can help with any university level writing issue. The Math Support Specialist can help with any foundational mathematics issue, introductory calculus, linear algebra, and more.
This is not a class or presentation. The Specialists will work with you on your particular questions or issues.
How to Access the Aurora Multipurpose Room
AIR hosts a number of programs in the Aurora Multipurpose room (AU 128). If you are not a resident of Aurora Hall, you can access the building through the external door to the room, facing the Dining Centre. See the map below for more details.
