Werklund School of Education is going to be offering a graduate certificate in Contemplative Ecological Education in July 2022. This certificate focuses on ways that education can respond to the existential urgency of this planetary moment, by fostering life-sustaining and life-serving approaches to collective well-being for humans and the more-than-human world.
This fully online four-course certificate critically considers and responds to current concerns regarding environmental challenges; associated racism and other societal inequities; related protest, activism, advocacy and action; and implications for environmental education practice and research.
