University of Calgary Calendar 2022-2023 Academic Regulations I. Reappraisal of Graded Term Work and Academic Assessments (final grades)
I. Reappraisal of Graded Term Work and Academic Assessments (final grades)

The University acknowledges that there are instances when a student may wish to challenge University decisions about graded term work or academic assessments (final grades). The following guidelines and procedures deal with those occasions.

The definition for the term “graded term work” is set out in Section I.2 (Reappraisal of Graded Term Work).

The term “academic assessment” means the determination of a student’s final level of achievement in a specific course, and includes grades, credit or fail designations, and, if specified in a course outline, assessments of all aspects of professional behaviour.
