Survey: CEOs growing optimistic about economy
The Vistage CEO Confidence Index revealed cautious optimism in the economy as confidence inches upward from a three-year low in the second quarter. Nearly 70 percent of CEOs expect increased revenues for the year ahead, and more than half expect increased profits. The overall numbers for September’s survey indicate modest predictions for growth, with a bare majority planning to expand their workforce in the coming year.
