Introduction
Congratulations on your acceptance into the Bachelor of Nursing degree program. Nursing knowledge is needed all over the world; in Canada, the health-care system is experiencing almost daily changes in structure and in the delivery of services to patients. You are embarking on an educational journey that will allow you to confidently enter this world not only through our quality programming, but also with opportunities to help shape and transform practice through research.
The Bachelor of Nursing degree requires the completion of 20 full-course equivalents (120 units) and requires four years of full-time study for direct entry/high school students. Students admitted to the Transfer and Degree Holder Routes are required to complete 15 full-course equivalents (90 units) within a timeframe of 24 or 28 months, respectively.
