Nadeem M.

Seymour Schulich Community Service/Entrepreneurial Entrance Award
Nadeem graduated high school from Westmount Charter School. During that time, he received the Gold Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and the Royal Canadian Legion Air Cadet Medal of Excellence. Having two UCalgary Alumni parents, Nadeem was excited to carry on the family legacy by attending the University of Calgary; Furthermore, Calgary's research reputation finalized his decision.

Chancellor's Scholarship
Salma attended Joane Cardinal-Schubert High School, during which time she presented a research project about the role of B cells in multiple sclerosis as part of the Alberta Innovates High School Youth Researcher Summer program.

Service/Entrepreneurial Entrance Award

This award of the student entering the Bachelor of Engineering degree program through the Schulich School of Engineering. Successful awards winner combine athletic excellence, musical talent, volunteerism, service, and entrepreneurism. Although the focus of the Community Service / Entrepreneurial Entrance Award is not academics, it’s not surprising that many of the winning students are often at the top of their class.

This scholarship was established by Richard and Lois Haskayne to recognize the leadership and academic ability of students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
