About Tech Fest
Tech Fest invites post-secondary students citywide to connect with Calgary’s growing tech sector during an in-person career conference featuring engaging networking activities including information booths, interactive games and engaging with community leaders who are re-shaping the landscape of economic opportunity in our city.
Interactive Games
The best way to get to know someone is by doing something fun and social, so our companies will be playing games with students where they can chat with and learn from tech leaders in a less formal setting.
Information booths
Any good careers conference is not complete without dozens of company booths, with representatives eager to meet with students looking for impactful work in all fields. Students are encouraged to bring resumes to discuss what it’s like to work in tech in Alberta.
Who should attend?
- Any company in Alberta is welcome to join and meet Calgary’s student talent and engage with other tech companies from across the province to bolster our growing tech economy.
- All UCalgary students and post-secondary students across Calgary are welcome to attend. We encourage you to register beforehand so we can send updates regarding who’s presenting, what activities to expect, and how to make the most of your Tech Fest experience.
