Co-Curricular Tracker

The Co-Curricular Tracker (CCT) is a useful tool to track your volunteer activities. These activities can showcase your employability skills on your resume, in graduate school applications and more. Staff and students no longer need to have activities approved by a validator. If you’re a student who is looking to reflect on how your involvement on campus contributes to your employability skills, and to talk about this on resumes and in job application packages, book an appointment to speak with a Career Advisor or submit your resume for a Resume Review.

Co-Curricular Tracker Information

The University of Calgary Co-Curricular Tracker (CCT) is a program that provides students with a platform to have their on-campus volunteer and extra-curricular experiences recognized officially on a University of Calgary document. When coupled with your academic transcript, the CCT will provide a holistic view of your overall student experience at the University of Calgary, and will help set you apart from the competition when you graduate. The CCT is hosted on the Elevate portal, and uses a database of extracurricular and co-curricular activities that allows students to add positions they have participated into their personal CCT.

The CCT is hosted through the Elevate portal. Through the Elevate portal, students can search through an online database of CCT eligible activities and positions, and add them to their personal CCT.

For new activities to be added to the CCT, they must meet the following criteria:

  1. The position must be an on-campus activity or be attached to a university department, club, faculty, or program.
  2. The position can be paid; however, the function of the job must be focused on student engagement work (ex. Community Advisors in residence, volunteers, and clubs).
  3. The position can’t be attached to any form of academic credit.

No. Students must manually add each eligible activity to their personal Co-Curricular Tracker.

No. All new positions, programs and activities are only added to the Co-Curricular Catalogue by someone with an approved Staff Account. Activities and positions from previous years will still be included in the CCT catalogue. Recommendation is to review and make necessary updates.
