The University of Calgary has been surveying employees bi-annually since 2011 to provide feedback to leaders on engagement and enablement, both of which are key drivers to achieving the strategic vision of the university. The survey provides insight into how you feel about the university, the work you do, and opportunities for improvement. The results of past surveys have helped us engage and support you and your work, and understand what we need to do to reach our Eyes High goals.
Your feedback has resulted into many things such as improved opportunities for professional and leadership development, career development programming, the development of the mental health strategy and our evolving university-wide Respect in the Workplace program.
Results of the 2017 Employee Engagement Survey were presented at two Town Halls hosted by Dr. Cannon, one at main campus on May 31, 2017 and the other at the Foothills campus on June 14, 2017.
